A nice Turkish restaurant. The decor is outdated but the staff are friendly and the food is tasty. The complementary starter of lamachun and warm bread was a good start, the dips could have been a little more flavourful. The Melih Special Platter for 2 was great. The meat was juicy and flavoursome and the complementary dessert at the end was a nice touch. The price was very good too.
Just popped in for lunch, lovely staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Ada and Sada very sweet and professional and provided a great service. Definitely will recommend

Been coming here since it opened over 10 years ago. A friendly, family run restaurant with lovely food. Not too pricey for what you get either.

We visited yesterday and the environment was good the staff was friendly the portion was good as we order there grill for 4 people Twice they gave salad and complementary Turkish pizza had desert as well overall worth the visit
We went here as a family of 5 and perhaps we over ordered as we had no idea the portions would be huge! On top of that there was complimentary lahmacun and Turkish dessert with ice cream and Turkish tea. Lovely staff, ambience and excellent food. This place looks smaller on the outside but there is plenty of seating inside.

Food was excellent. Service was perfect. Packed and yet all the food was served hit and quick. We had a good range and all was hot and well seasoned. We had lamb curry, bindi, chana massala, pilau Rice, naan breads, and excellent samosas

Food was succulent, delicious and authentic reminds me of istanbul. Staff are extremely friendly and they always smile to you. Complimentary tea and desserts!! Their prices are pretty reasonable. It’s also a family run business so I highly recommend it!!

Second time eating here, but not the last. The pictures can't describe unfortunately even the taste that is absolutely AMAZING!!! Oh my God, freshly made food, very tasty, such a clean and friendly restaurant, the staff is always trying to make you feel like home, very caring and nice. See you soon, guys!

We went on a Friday at 5pm and there were plenty of tables. We ordered the Melih special platter for 2 for £33. It came with a lot of meat, salad and bread. They gave us a free lahmacun which was nice and chewy. Everything was flavourful and tasty. Well seasoned meat charcoal grilled, bulgur wheat was delicious and addictive, all the meats were tasty, the lamb was a bit chewy but that's to be expected. Salad was good and the garlic sauce is thick and drinkable.
I ordered the Ayran, usually I find the shop bought ones too salty and sour. This was perfect flavour, not dour or salty and slightly sweet too. Tastes homemade. The bread nice and warm, the only downfall is the bread from the platter is stale compared to the bread they give you. Otherwise it was a good meal.
The dessert I ordered Sutlac, usually I get it from Diyarbakir kitchen where it tastes like white chocolate. This one has lemon in it and the texture is nice and smooth and creamy. It's not as nice as the one from Diyarbakir but it is still nice and worth trying once.
Overall it costed £43 for the two of us. We ordered Turkish tea also for £1.50. Worth the money for good quality food and service.- Service

This is the best Turkish food place in town. Very reasonably priced with excellent customer service and great tasting food. Staff is very warm and welcoming.
Great Place to come with family for super delicious Turkish foods. Highly recommended. Our Family's Fav Food place outside house.
